The stage of this opera house has seen the likes of Oscar Wilde, Ethel Barrymore, Lillie Langtrey, Will Rogers, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John Philip Sousa and William Jennings Bryan. Edwin Booth, the brother of Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth, has been rumored to haunt the building. Other spirits are believed to live there as well, messing around with props, playing pranks and sometimes making their way out onto the stage.

I am an actor there and one time I was practicing by myself at like 10pm and I heard a bang when I went to go see what it was my dressing room was ransacked but no one was there. And someone had added the dead pig prop that we were using for a play but no one was there.
