Lake Joy Trails of Terror is one of Georgia’s premier haunted attractions — where your terror gives us joy! For 16 years, we’ve been delivering spine-chilling scares while making a real difference in our community. As a nonprofit haunt, we donate to families battling childhood illnesses and local schools in need of a special needs playground, and other community causes close to our hearts.
Winding through dark woods, eerie trails, and immersive scenes, every step is designed to keep your heart pounding. Our dedicated crew of “Haunters with a Heart” blends professional-level sets, terrifying characters, and unpredictable scares to create an unforgettable experience.

Come out for the scare of your life at Lake Joy Trails of Terror! The haunt is in the woods, be prepared to walk, and wear closed toe shoes. Dark areas, come prepared to be scared. Remember this is the woods and mother nature is out in the woods, also roots, unlevel ground that is how mother nature plays. No touching or messing with props (any property of Lake Joy Trails of Terror) or staff, NO PROFANITY OR BEING RUDE TO STAFF YOU WILL BE ESCORTED OUT WITH NO REFUND.

The best haunted house I’ve went to scared in almost every possible way and when you think your finally safe they get you again. Will go again very soon and I do recommend.

The atmosphere is amazing and so much fun. When you arrive and are waiting to go through the haunt, they have a great setup for a rope line with a DJ out there playing awesome music and some pretty scary characters walking around and interacting with the patrons. You can check out the haunt store or grab some food to enjoy with the entertainment. Once you enter the haunt, it’s a great experience. The monsters working within really put everything they have into scaring you and feeding off your energy. Can also do the extreme experience if you’re not too scared or a zombie shoot where you get to shoot orbee guns and real people zombies trying to attack you!

Trails of Terror is right on the money!! This haunt is EPICALLY Scary especially with their "Extra Experience". The Zombie Shoot is Fun and Engaging, SCARY as well!! Will You and your squad survive the Trails and Zombie Apocalypse?

We love this trail! My son did the full Emerson one this year and had the best time!! Go support a good cause, and have a frightful time!

By the far most in dept haunt I’ve been to . 6 years strong I’ve been going and it has been above and beyond every single year ! Outdoor based which amplifies the “spook” factor as well as that real deal feel . The actors are amazing and the extra experience is beyond worth it , but not for the ones who complain about being touched or covered in something wet and yucky so don’t be a sore loser for the rest of the weird ones !
